September is CVI Awareness Month. CVI is known as Cortical Visual Impairement. CVI is also known as Cerebral Impairment.

CVI is the leading cause of childhood blindness. CVI is when the brain has trouble processing or understanding visual information. Most individuals who have CVI do not have edammage or diseases with their eyes. The issue is with the brain.

‘Take some time to educate yourself on CVI. CVI has a lot of misconceptions associated with it, so learn the facts, experiences, challenges, and ETC of people with CVI.
